A party without cake is just a meeting. A meal which ends with dessert becomes a celebration. To this end, we offer a wide range of cakes & desserts to please every palette.
For the Chocoholics, and there are many, we recommend our signature Chocolate Truffle Cake. We love Tiered Temptation which is our chocolate orange mousse cake. Our light as air Opium Cake is made with chocolate and whipped cream. Three layers of dark, milk and white chocolate mousse stand proudly to be called Chocoholic.
Our Pineapple & Cream cake has many admirers. Our Red Velvet Cake outsells most items on our menu. Our colourful Rainbow Cake stands tall on our shelves. Our Lemon Tarts, Banoffee High and Vodka flavoured Green Chilly Mousse Cake have all earned their place in the hearts of our guests.
Our seasonal Fresh Fruit Tart (Strawberry/Mango) is Chef Kainaz’s current favourite. It was love at first taste, Kainaz tried the Strawberry Tart in France on one of her earliest visits and has loved it ever since. We love our Strawberry Tart. It is made with fresh fruit, vanilla custard, almond frangipani and a crisp butter pastry tart, these are the fastest selling most attractive and most delicious tarts we offer. We sometimes make these tarts up to three times a day and still manage to sell (or eat) them all. We bake them in small batches and we think we make them just right. We make a Mango (Tart) variation which is just as delicious.
We keep experimenting and innovating and keep introducing new products, changing recipes, bringing back old favourites and adding modern twists to old classics. Our chocolates are made from real chocolate. It may sound obvious but we proudly use no artificial (chocolate) compound. At Theobroma, we only use pure chocolate which is temperamental and demands time and respect but it is worth the effort. Our chocolate offering includes dipped truffles, almond rocks, moulded soft centred chocolates and caraques.
