From our humble beginnings in 2004, when the first Theobroma pastry store opened its doors at the iconic Cusrow Baug at Colaba Causeway (Mumbai), we've grown to become a Pan-India chain of patisseries with stores in over 30 cities.

Chief Executive Officer
With over 22 years of international management experience, Rishi has a track record of increasing sales & growing bottom line while driving operational improvements & business transformation, in dynamic and demanding business environments. His areas of expertise include P&L Management, Strategy, Operations, Business Development, Program Management, Change Management & Business Transformation. He was awarded the D&I CEO of the Year at the 2019 Future Fluent Global Summit and has served on the advisory boards of global non-profits Catalyst and Stop Hunger Foundation.
Kunal Kumar
Head — Production, Product Development & Innovation
With over 20 years of culinary and F&B experience, Kunal heads Production and New Product Development at Theobroma. A graduate of the Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development (OCLD), he has worked with prestigious hospitality chains such as Oberoi Hotels, Accor Hotels and Leela hotels, with international stints in South East Asia and France. Complimenting the extensive experience in hospitality, he has also held leadership positions in the food and bakery manufacturing and retail industry.
Ayush Kapoor
Chief Marketing Officer
With over 13 years of marketing experience, Ayush brings deep expertise in brand building, growth strategy, and digital transformation. He spent more than a decade at Unilever, leading brands such as Cornetto, Kwality Walls, Lifebuoy, and Lux across India and international markets. Prior to joining Theobroma, he served as CMO and Head of Digital Business at Bombay Shirt Company and has also advised several VC-backed startups.
Hrishikesh Kashyap
Chief Human Resources Officer
With over 15 years of experience, Hrishikesh brings expertise in HR leadership, organization design, and people transformation across the retail, hospitality, and food service sectors. An XLRI alumnus with a postgraduate degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, he has held key HR roles at leading organizations including Idea Cellular and More Retail.
Sanjay Jhawar
Chief Financial Officer
With over 25 years of experience, Sanjay brings deep expertise in financial strategy, business partnering, governance, compliance, and operational excellence. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he has held leadership roles at renowned organizations including Tata 1mg, Domino's Pizza, and Avon Cosmetics, where he played a key role in driving sustainable growth, strengthening financial controls, enhancing governance frameworks, and enabling scalable business expansion.
Anand Tomar
Chief Technology Officer
Anand brings 20 years of experience spanning the Food, Retail, and Manufacturing industries. He holds an MBA in IT from the Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology, Pune, and has worked with leading brands including McDonald's, Trent, and Marico, developing deep expertise in technology-led business transformation.
Sukalyan Roy

With over 27 years of experience, Sukalyan brings extensive expertise across sales, operations, and business development in the retail and QSR sectors. He has held leadership roles at prominent organizations including Domino's Pizza, Pantaloons, Pidilite, CenturyPly, Future Group, and Reliance Retail, driving business growth and operational excellence throughout his career.
Simantini Budukh
General Counsel and Company Secretary
With over 17 years of experience Simantini oversees Legal & Corporate Governance function, Risk mitigation and Investor Relations at Theobroma. She has a track record in driving diverse projects ranging from new business setups, Joint Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Transfers and Share Sale. Her adeptness in setting up legal processes, contract management, corporate governance, compliance and dispute resolution has been pivotal in mitigating legal risks for business continuity. She is LLB, CS, M.Com and has done a General Management Program from Indian School of Business.
