About Us

The word Theobroma literally translates to ‘Food of the Gods’, where ‘Theos’ means Gods and ‘broma’ means food. Coincidentally, it is also the scientific name of the cocoa plant (Theobroma cacao), which is the star ingredient in many of the products offered by this patisserie. Apart from our stellar collection of sweet items, like pastries, cakes, cupcakes, chocolates, croissants and cookies, we also offer delectable savouries such as puffs, quiches, sandwiches, wraps, and rolls. Our History

We started off as a tiny bakery store at Cusrow Baug on Colaba Causeway, Mumbai and have come a long way from our humble beginnings. We are now a professionally-run, pan-India bakery and patisserie that is constantly striving to innovate and provide the best in the world of baked goods. Since 2004, Theobroma has been diligently expanding its presence in metros, and we now have stores in over 18 cities. Our goal was and always has been to provide the best bakery products to people across the country and we continue to chase that goal.
